What is the free security software that’s included?

We provide Webroot Security Software as an option. Alternatively, you may use your own or purchase a different software.

Can you access my computer after service has been completed?

No, not until you request service again. Once your service is complete and you log out of the support session, we can no longer see or access your computer.

What is remote computer support?

Remote computer support, also known as ‘online support’, allows us to remotely view your computer screen and securely fix most computer and network problems right through the Internet via remote control. This type of computer support works through ‘desktop sharing’ technology. You can allow a technical support representative to ‘view’ and ‘interact’ with your computer remotely via the Web – fixing problems fast.

How do I access support?

You can logon to our website and initiate a session via live chat, give us a call, submit a ticket to receive a code or by using the application that we have installed on your device.

Is it secure?

Yes. When you start a support session there is an encrypted connection between your computer and the technician’s computer. That ensures your security and privacy.

In addition, you are in control the whole time. Only you can initiate a remote support session and you can end a session by simply closing the support window on your desktop. Further still, you are always in control of your mouse (cursor). During your session you will see the technician using your cursor to locate and fix problems.
